NORM ISO 14001:2015

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

The International Standard for Environmental Management, ISO 14001, places emphasis on a continuous improvement process as means to achieve the defined aims referring to the environmental performance of a company.
The continuous improvement process is based on the Plan-Execute-Control-Optimise method

• Planning: Defining aims and processes
• Execute: the implementation of the processes
• Control: monitoring the processes
• Optimise: If necessary, adjust

For this purpose, a company should define a company environmental policy, environmental aims and an environmental programme as well as set up a corresponding management system. Among other things, a reduction of waste, wastewater and emissions is to be achieved and developed.
